First Annual Basketball Coaching Enhancement Seminar
DES MOINES, Iowa (July 6, 2008) –A basketball coaching enhancement seminar will be held on Aug. 1, 2, and 3rd at Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. This first annual seminar will be led by current Iowa Energy assistant coach Gary Garner and former Iowa State coach Randy Brown. The seminar format includes four hours of on-floor and classroom instruction each day. Highlights of the seminar include; 12 hours of teaching and demonstration, 62-skill checklist, offense and defensive concepts, coaching binder, materials and resources, hands-on approach, individual skill development plan, and certificate of completion. The seminar is open to all parents, youth directors, youth coaches, high school and college men’s and women’s basketball coaches of all levels. The cost is $150.00.
